Case Sealers are manufactured in a variety of configurations suitable for your needs.  Uniform case sealers are the most commonly used on production lines since each case is the same size as the previous case. These case sealers change over very easily from one size to another in a matter of a couple minutes and are available in automatic and semi-automatic versions.

Automatic vs. Semi-Automatic Case Sealers

Semi-Automatic Case Sealers are useful for lower production lines where the packer has time to load the case with product, fold the flaps, and push the case into the case sealer. Generally speaking if a second person is required to keep up with production, it is time to think about an Automatic Case sealer.

The big difference between an Automatic Case Sealer and a Semi-Automatic Case Sealer is the addition of the flap folding mechanism and the added length to accommodate it. When the case enters the case sealer the forward flap is knocked down, the mechanism then knocks down the trailing flap, and finally the side flaps are folded by folding bars. The pictures to the right do a pretty good job of illustrating the difference.

Case Sealers - Random

Random Case Sealers are ideal for order picking operations where the size of the case varies from case to case. These case sealers automatically adjust to the size of each case as it is presented. They are available in Semi-Automatic and Automatic versions.
